Tintagel Castle England
Castle is a medieval fortress situated on the peninsula of Tintagel Island, close to the village of Tintagel, North Cornwall, England. A Spanish invasion threatened the castle in the 1580s, and defenses were fortified at the Iron Gate. When Geoffrey of Monmouth named the place where King Arthur was born, Tintagel became famous.
