Roman Palace at Fishbourne

A great deal of the palace has been excavated and is protected. The rectangular palace surrounds formal gardens and the northern sections have been reconstructed. Excessive changes were done during 2nd and 3rd centuries owing to several original white and black mosaics being overlaid with sophisticated colored work.
