Cornwall Devon Two Week Itinerary
Your eating and overnight stays are calculated in the following two-week itinerary in Cornwall and Devon:
Start in Exeter and get an outstanding view from the peek of the cathedral's towers, prior to heading west into the Dartmoor's wilds. While hiking through stark landscape of open heaths and twisted tors, there are many lovely villages to see like Chagford and Widecombe-in-the-Moor. Admire dramatic lanscape at Cornwall's highest hill, Brown Willy. Then hike towards Padstow, a former fishing port.
Southwest of Padstow you'll see big greenhouses of the Eden Project that contain a fine array of plants and trees collected from all over the world, becoming Cornwall's starred attractions. Going southwest you will see Truro, the county's capital and only city that center around an amazing three-spired cathedral. The historic harbour of Falmuth lies along Fal River, which is a busy university town where you can visit the National Maritime Museum. Then, explore arty St. Ives, full of galleries and crafts shops. Check out the beaches.
Heading further west into Penwith, stop by the town of Penzance and admire fine art galleries and abundant attractive architecture. Eat lunch at Newlyn, if you love seafood. Stroll around the charming scenery, seaside cottages, winding lanes, and the huge granite harbor.
