King Arthur's Statue Castle Tintagel
The bronze statue of King Arthur holding his sword and staring back across the castle's ruins, stands atop the Tintagel cliffs. Artist Rubin Eynon built this eight-foot statue that watches over his kingdom, the land beyond him, and the Atlantic sea. Gallos was installed in 2016, inspired by both King Arthur's legend and Tintagel Castle's history. Locals have accused English Heritage of "Disneyfication."
