Hellfire Caves West Wycombe

The caves are a network of man-made flint and chalk caverns that expand 250 meters underground. They lie above the village of West Wycombe, at the southern edge of the Chistern Hills, in Buchinghamshire, Southeast England. In addition, the caves are supposed to be among the most haunted places in Britain. Bacchanals, sacrifices, orgies, and more are said to have occurred in these caves. Sir Francis Dashwood originally excavated them in mid-1700s.
